I have TX-NR717 B are it coming dolby atmos opgrade on this? or have i by me a ny reciver?
Hi! I am a owner of your TX-NR717B! Lately I have been having problems when turning it on... at the evening i shut.it down with the remote, the day after i turn it on and it starts the hdmi controller, and i get picture through, then the audio should come on a few seconds after that, but it doesn't... this happends with every source i got, computer, tv-sat etc.. Then I have to turn it.of and on like 4-10 times, then it suddenly works.... and btw, sounds like its not turning a relay for the audio... when.it works I get a click sound.and then audio! I also installed the latest firmware, didnt help either... hope you guys have a solution for me!
Does Onkyo ever reply on any of the complaints?? I have the impression they do not and leave all their customers standing in the cold and without info.I am waiting now for 5 weeks for the repair of a "standard defective audio chip" on my TX-NR717 and nobody can give me an update.Service?? Where??

Dear OnkyoI am a happy owner of an Onkyo TX-NR717 which work nearly perfect for what I am using it for. The only thing I am missing is the Spotify Connect integration - since the Onkyo Android remote app is not perfect for me - and the ability to use this with Spotify was actually one of the main reasons I bought this amplifier (combined with multi zone).So, I am just wondering if you know already now when (if?) you will release a new firmware with support for Spotify Connect for "older" models such as mine - that would be wonderful to have!Have a great weekend...P.S. Sorry if this has been answered before - I did not see it at least.
I have a strange problem with my onkyo TX-NR 717 receiver. After a year of good service it has problems starting up. When i put it on nosound is coming out of the speakers. After al couple of times shutting it down and starting it up again it sometimes works normaly. What can be the issue here. I didn't change anything on my setup.

Hi. I have a TX-NR717 wich I seem to have a small problem with. I have run the initial setup, and used the microphone to calibrate the speakers, and I have great sound.However, it seems to set the subwoofer level a little high, so I've tried to adjust it by going "reciever-setup-audio-subwoofer level" with the remote, and then adjusting it to a level more appropriate for me. Settings made this way seems to "reset" whenever the reciever is turned off.For example if i adjust "Subwoofer level" from -6db and down to -10db, and then turn of the reciever, when I turn it back on, it's back to -6db, wich is kinda annoying. I've updated to the last firmware (1131-0104-0200-0000), and tried resetting factory defaults, but still it's the same. Is there something I do wrong, or is there normal or is there something wrong?
I'm really dissapointed in onkyo, I bought an TX-NR717 receiver lees than a year ago, now its dead, sometimes its starts up, and most of the times its dead, its not powering up at all, in total i spent a lot of money, because i bought the receiver and a blueray discplayer, and i can't use it at all.I send onkyo an email, and they didnt reply to my email.I'm very dissapointed, and when I'm not able to repair my reciever, I will never in my life, buy onkyo angain, because it's bad quality, and very bad customer service.
Hi, are there any problems know with the Onkyo TX-NR717. Last night I switched it off and when I wanted to switch it on the receiver was dead (and no clicking sounds). I've checked all the fuses and they're ok.

@KI2000 We're not aware of any 5.1ch with 12V trigger. So the TX-NR717 would be our recommendation, as well in terms of pricing.about 1155 days ago
