Bonjour, mon ampli Onkyo TX NR509 n'a plus de son, le vendeur me dit que c'est le module HDMI qui est HS. Apparemment c'est un problème récurent sur cet ampli et connu de Onkyo. Mon vendeur m'a fait un devis de 350€ pour le réparer. Est ce que Onkyo peut prendre en charge la réparation?
Dear Onkyo,About 2.5 to 3 years ago I bought a TX-NR509, where for two months, no sound comes out. I googled on internet and have seen on many forums that there are perhaps hundreds onkyo users with the same 'no sound' problem.The solution in these cases is to buy a new HDMI board because of a bad DTS soundchip.Can you PLEASE help me with a free new HDMI board or at least at a reduced price. I think 2.5 years is too short for a nice device like this.Could you please send me this part, so I can fix it by myself. Like I read here on facebook other customers are still waiting for a box to send the whole devide to you, so you can repair this, but is is a very easy fix when i have a new board.If you help me, you can delete this post and i promise that i will communicate at your facebook-account about your excellent customer-service, so please reply to me!Many thanks in advance!
Hi I have a TX NR509, that I was previously very happy with, but the hdmi chip has just failed and I have no sound from the unit, weeks after the warranty has passed. I quickly found out this is a common problem with onkyos. How can I get this resolved? Thanks
Our onkyo tx-nr 509 is not working correctly.Whe don't have any sound left. Whe thright everything according the booklets. Removed power, lines everything what to do.?Whe don't know it anymore.Whe are living in the netherlands and the box is Just a bit older than 2 years. Can you help us out?
AV Receiver TX-NR509Problem: no sound at allHi, I've just opened the Ticket#2014103010000701. I bought the receiver on April 2012.This means no warranty anymore, I know but the question is: Out of the warranty do you have any idea about the cost for the fix? More or quite the same as the price of a new one?

#OnkyoEU Today my TX-NR509 stopped working.It produces no more sound. The Network and Firmware Update functions are grayed out..It sounds like the well-known HDMI-board issues that a lot of users have.Is there a way to get the receiver up and running again?A lifetime of 2,5 years for such equipment is too short, so I'd hate it if this is the end of this neat receiver.
Tried to find an email address on the webpage, but no success. So my question. I have a tx-nr509 reciever bought december -11. Now it is not working, no sound on any outgoing channels. Is this a problem you have Heard of before? Is there a guarantee, or what it's called? What should I do?
Hi. I tried to submit a support request on your website @ http://www.uk.onkyo.com/en/contact-42204.html - when I submit my enquiry it fails to show a success message. The sound on my Onkyo TX-NR509 AV Receiver has stopped working. Please can you assist me getting this functional again? Thanks, Pete
Have to comment on Onkyo's Customer Support. Own a TX-NR509 AV Receiver which developed the well known premature failure of its output pcb, out of warranty. Further to contacting Customer Service and mentioning the 'Sale of Goods Act' 'Fit for Purpose' They promptly phoned me and offered a completely free goodwill repair including free collection and delivery to GenServe, Swindon.The TX-NR509 is now perfect with latest firmware update, thanks to Onkyo's Joseph Yeung (Customer Care) outstanding customer service.Not related to this particular problem, but owners of AV Amplifiers please allow sufficient air gap above the unit as these babies don't like to be over-heated.
