Digital and FM Radio in One Stylish Package
DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and its successor, DAB+, use efficient audio codecs to boost the number of stations that can be broadcast without sacrificing audio quality. This gives you, the listener, a much greater choice. Digital radio delivers sound quality that’s as good—and in most cases, better—than traditional FM broadcasts, while being less susceptible to environmental interference. The T-4030 comes supplied with digital radio antennas, as well as an antenna for FM broadcasts and all necessary cables.

Forty Presets Each for Digital and FM Bands
When tuning into DAB+, DAB, and FM stations, you can use the Auto Preset function to automatically search for and store (in one operation) radio stations available in your area. Alternatively, you can manually select the stations in the order of your choice. The T-4030 lets you store up to 40 FM stations, as well as another 40 for DAB+/DAB radio. You can name each preset station with up to eight characters for easy identification.

VLSC™ Removes Pulse Noise From Digital Signals
Even when using a high-quality DAC to reduce digital pulse noise, you can't remove it completely. Onkyo’s VLSC employs a unique digital-to-analog conversion circuit to overcome this problem. Data is converted between discrete sampling points, and these points are joined with analog vectors in real time. The result is a smooth, virtually noiseless analog signal based on the digital source.

High Quality Digital-to-Analog Sound Processing
Further evidence of this product’s outstanding build quality comes in the form of its high-end audio processor. The T-4030 is fitted with a 192kHz/24bit digital-to-analog converter to create extremely accurate analog waveforms from the digital source. It’s high-resolution capability and fast sampling rates—as well as properties like excellent dynamic range and jitter resistance—make this DAC a firm favorite among audio enthusiasts.

Incorporating a Build Quality Worthy of Audiophile Standards
The T-4030’s chassis has been specifically designed to minimize the effects of vibration and interference on the incoming and outputted signals. Finished off with a solid aluminum front panel, the T-4030 makes an attractive addition to any audio system. But this build quality is more than skin deep. Inside, you’ll find an audiophile-grade capacitor contributing to a deep, spacious soundstage.
Remote Interactive System Integrates Audio System Control

Onkyo’s proprietary RI system integrates, and enables operation of, all compatible components through a single remote control. The T-4030 can be connected to an RI-compatible amplifier for system integration. For example, when you select a preset or change the band with the connected amplifier’s remote control, your amplifier will automatically select the T-4030 as the input source.
