Firmware Update TX-8050 (05-07-2012)
We are pleased to offer this firmware update for the best possible performance of your Stereo Receiver.
TX-8050
(Version 1041-0800-0000-0000)
- Stabilizes audio playback of iPod/iPhone via USB port.
To check if your firmware is the latest version, go in to Setup -> Firmware Update and check the 16 digit number (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). If any of the numbers differ from the latest version available, please update your unit.
To update the firmware of the receiver, you can choose from the following two methods: update via network, or update via USB storage. Choose the one that best suits your environment.
Before proceeding with the update, please read the corresponding explanations in the product manual carefully.
Update via network
You need a wired Internet connection to update the firmware.
Update via USB storage
Note: Please remove the wired/wireless connection before updating through USB.
Please prepare a USB storage device such as a USB flash memory stick. You need at least 32 MB of available space to update the firmware.
